I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised by my mother after my parents separated when I was just nine years old. My mother worked tirelessly, holding down two jobs while also making toasted peanuts and Moby to sell on the side. Her strength and determination shaped who I am today, but it also meant I had to learn how to parent myself at a young age. Navigating life without a strong sense of security was far from easy, and even now, I still struggle with creating that sense of safety within myself.

At 19, I left Trinidad to start a new life in another country, completely on my own. That leap into the unknown taught me resilience and laid the foundation for the person I am today. By 22, I had opened my first yoga studio and spa, channeling my love for wellness into a thriving business. Later, I became a flight attendant with JetBlue, an experience that allowed me to see the world and expand my understanding of people and cultures. I also ventured into acting, embracing the vulnerability and creativity it demanded.

Over the years, my focus shifted toward helping others transform their lives. As a manifestation coach, I guided people in aligning with their authentic selves and manifesting their dreams. My work eventually evolved into something even deeper—helping others navigate the “death portal,” a symbolic journey through profound loss, transformation, and rebirth. I empower women to take the pain they’ve endured and turn it into purpose, helping them rise stronger, wiser, and more aligned with their true selves.

Reserve One-On-One

Through my own challenges, I’ve discovered the power of resilience. Currently, I am navigating one of my own deepest challenges—a marital separation. The pain is immense, leaving me feeling unprepared, vulnerable, and anxious. My tears often feel like a flood, ripping through me from the inside out. Yet, even in this pain, I am reminded of my resilience and my commitment to never return to places or patterns that no longer serve me.

This chapter has forced me to confront old wounds, like my struggle to fully nurture and protect myself. But it has also ignited a deeper understanding of transformation. I’ve come to realize that the darkest moments are often gateways to the most profound growth.

Through journaling, reading, and immersing myself in self-discovery, I found small beacons of hope in the overwhelming darkness. This process inspired me to create organized lists, guides, and begin writing my first book—resources designed to provide practical tools for women transitioning out of painful relationships. I know there are many others navigating similar struggles, and I feel called to share what I’ve learned to help them find clarity and strength.

At Lumo Haus, I provide resources and training designed to help women turn their pain into purpose. I firmly believe that our toughest moments can reveal our greatest strengths. As the author of 13 Archetypes Every Woman Entrepreneur Should Know and the creator of the free guide Rising from the Ashes, I am committed to nurturing personal growth and spiritual fulfillment.
